What KidsLearn is

Short animated films and games that answer the questions kids ask, for ages 4 to 9. Each one ends with ideas to keep exploring at home.

Using a lesson

1. Watch a film together the first time, and pause to let kids guess what happens next.
2. In a game, let the child hold the device and read the hints together.
3. Try one experiment from the notes.
4. Ask the questions afterwards.

Games have Little levels (ages 4 to 6) that need no reading and Big levels (ages 7 to 9), and nothing in them is timed or scored.

Accessibility

• Captions on screen.
• Read-aloud with your device's own voice.
• Keyboard controls: in films, Space plays or pauses and the arrow keys change chapter; in games, Tab reaches every piece and Enter uses it.
• Works on phones, tablets and computers. Games are easiest on a tablet or a phone held sideways.
